The Betty Guinan/Alice Newman

Historical Room

The Alice Newman Historical Room began in 1983 with materials collected by the East Granby Public Library and the East Granby Historical Committee, a committee that was appointed in 1971 to research a history of the town.   As a result of the committee's efforts, East Granby: The Evolution of  a Connecticut Town by Mary Jane Springman and Betty Guinan was published in 1983.

The historical room is open by appointment only.

Call the library at (860)653-3002 to schedule a time.
