East Granby Public Library is a community orientated library. We focus on being an integral part of the community and with easy print, copy and fax facility and public computers to help our patrons with school and college projects. Display Boards helps to create awareness of what our community has to offer while our meeting room hosts regular community events. Don't forget to ask about our wide variety of Museum Passes!
print, copy & Fax
EGPL is pleased to offer a variety of printing services. We have a self serve Canon Image Runner copy machine which also has the ability to scan to a USB or directly to your email. The library offers a Black & White printer along with a Color Printer. EGPL also offers wireless printing. Please ask a front desk staff member for help with faxing or retrieving color print outs.

The Makerbot Sketch 3D printer prints objects in plastic.

User Guidelines:
Because of the demand, users are welcome to use the machine up to 10 hours a month. You can find the estimated print time by using the Makerbot Desktop Print program, a free download from Makerbot. The library can in no way guarantee the time frame for any project. The library is not responsible for the functionality or quality of content produced on the 3D printer. Completed print jobs will have the supports and raft left on. At this time, there is no charge for the use of these materials; this charge may be subject to change.

- Uses polyactic acid (PLA) filament, a nontoxic resin made of sugar derived from field corn
- PLA colors include: gray, green, blue, orange, and white
- Acceptable file types include: .thing, .makerbot, .stl, .skp
